The Crane Estate is a photographer's dream full of history and natural beauty. With its grand mansion overlooking the ocean, sprawling lawns, and intricately designed gardens, it was an ideal setting for Stephany and Victor’s engagement photos. The gardens are like something out of a classic novel, with vibrant flowers, neatly trimmed hedges, and charming statues tucked away in every corner. It felt like we had stepped back in time, and I couldn’t wait to capture their love story in such a beautiful location.

Embracing the Bridgerton Vibe

Stephany and Victor, a Rhode Island couple with a love story that began during the pandemic while playing "Among Us" online, have been inseparable ever since. As they plan their destination wedding for later this year, they decided to keep their engagement shoot local, capturing their unique bond and shared passion in the beautiful surroundings of New England. Victor proposed on Stephany's birthday, with a ring that reminded him of the sun and her, as she always brings light in his life and others'.

Stephany and Victor really brought their vision to life with their outfits. Stephany looked stunning in a pink flowing, lace-adorned dress, while Victor was the epitome of dapper in his button down shirt and slacks. They looked like the perfect mix of a Regency romance novel set in modern times and the Crane Estate provided the perfect stage for their love story.

A Hot Day, But Worth Every Shot

It was one of those hot, scorching summer days, but Stephany and Victor didn’t let the heat slow them down. We started in the estate’s Great House front entrance and then continued on to the different gardens, where they walked hand in hand along the paths lined with vibrant flowers. Despite the heat, they were all smiles, and the gardens were in full bloom, creating a lush, colorful backdrop for their photos.

One of my favorite shots was taken on a beautiful balcony overlooking the Italian Garden. The way they looked at each other was so heartwarming, and the setting couldn’t have been any more romantic.

A Classic Regency Portrait

To capture the timeless elegance of the Regency era, we set up a sit-down portrait that echoed the style of classic paintings. We found a spot in the Rose Garden, and Stephany sat gracefully, her gown draping around her, while Victor stood beside her.
